The fare served at Otto’s Market comes from a variety of sources: Kenny, Christopher, Fairlight, Kara, the stack of cookbooks in our office… and quite a few from Around The Family Table, a Leuschel family cookbook done by my mother Nancy and my sister Marianna. It is a fantastic collection of recipes with hilarious stories from our family history. The best is when my Grandma Gertrude took sourdough starter on a flight, and the altitude and air pressure made it start expanding out of control in-flight. Sounds like an I Love Lucy episode….
